A program of the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest of its kind in the US. Held annually the second week of January in the Nevada City, CA. The 3-day event is a gathering of award-winning films, filmmakers, speakers, celebrities, and activists who bring a human face to the environmental movement and the actions being taken in our communities. The founding organization, SYRCL, is now sharing their success with other environmental groups by offering Wild & Scenic On Tour which plays at about 115 venues nationwide each year.
We are one of those 115 venues and are proud to bring you an entertaining, thought provoking journey around the world of people doing good and making change for the environment.
