Day 3 of 21 …
This is day 3. After our massive snow storm of the year here in the Triangle. For us it started at 9pm last night and the kids were ecstatic (they thought they didn’t have school the next day).
I awoke this morning and began my new routine and it was surprisingly easier today than the first day. Well, the first day was a kickstarter, so it really didn’t count and yesterday was, well you know, yesterday. I went to 25 pushups! Now, for you hardcore individuals that may not mean alot but I was huffing it at 10 on Monday. The fact that I’m improving in such short time is good news so, I’ll add some bad for those of you that are following along. I was as tight as a drum when I crawled out of bed!
My routine is simple. Something to get my heart rate going, possible increase strength and flexibility while not going overboard (just yet). I didn’t join the gym because, although they only wanted $30/mth, they wanted to lock me down for 3 years. For me, that’s outrageous. I would never lock myself into a binding contract for more than 3 years the didn’t involve me owning or at least residing in the place. And I don’t intend on LIVING in the gym. Oh, back to my simple routine.
Pushups
Crunches
Side Planks
Neck Bridge
I do this three times then I get up, shower and go to work. Simple enough.
